Exclusive Personal Appearance

Joyce Bulifant
“My Four Hollywood Husbands”
Be entertained and surprised about the message she shares with people. Joyce promises surprise guests, too.

Bubbly, and cute as a button, actress Joyce Bulifant started her entertainment career in small parts on TV Westerns. Her wholesome, apple-pie appearance lent itself easily to the roles of frontier and townswomen needed in the many oaters of early 1960s TV shows like "The Tall Man," "The Wide Country," "Gunsmoke," "Empire," "Wagon Train," and "The Virginian." She began to branch out later in the decade with recurring roles on the legal drama "Perry Mason" and "Dr. Kildare" and even landed the starring part of Mary on the one-season run of "Tom, Dick and Mary" in 1964. Her star rose in the early '70s with continuous work on the comedy series "The Bill Cosby Show" and as news writer Murray Slaughter's wife on the popular sitcom "Mary Tyler Moore." The rest of the decade saw her as a fixture on many popular game shows of the era: "Match Game," "$20,000 Pyramid," and "Password Plus." The 1980s started strong for Bulifant, after a memorable role in the spoof classic "Airplane" she landed a recurring role as the best friend of sassy waitress Polly Holiday on "Flo" but her career slowed down significantly after that, highlighted by guest parts in a handful of sitcoms and small roles in two Jenny McCarthy movies. Bulifant showed her tenderness offscreen working as a spokesperson for Childhelp, a charity devoted to the prevention of child abuse. See film clips and more information here.

SPECIAL GUEST!
It is a pleasure to announce that film, television actor, and musical composer Roger Perry will be joining Joyce, and has written special music for the occasion. Roger has been married to Joyce for over 20 years, and is affectionately known as “husband #4.”

ROGER PERRY: MORE STAR POWER

Roger Perry began his acting career in the late 1950s, after serving as an intelligence officer in the United States Air Force. One of Roger’s best-known roles was that of Captain John Christopher in NBC’s Star Trek episode “Tomorrow Is Yesterday.” He also starred in two very popular American International Pictures horror films: Count Yorga, Vampire (1970), and The Return of County Yorga (1971). In the former film, Roger played Dr. James Hayes, who uncovered the true nature of Yorga, and in the latter film he played Professor David Baldwin.

Roger portrayed attorney Jim Harrigan, Jr. on Harrigan and Son (1960-1961 season), and has guest-starred on many American television series through the 1980s. These shows included, U.S. Marshall, The Texan, Arrest and Trial, Emergency!, Love, American Style, The Andy Griffith Show, Ironside, The F.B.I., The Eleventh Hour, The Munsters, Barnaby Jones, The Facts of Life, Adam-12, and Falcon Crest.
