Monetary Awards in the amount of $250, $150, and $100 will be given for first, second and third place winners in each category.
First place winning essay and short story will be read aloud from the podium by PSWG members David Kelly and Carol Mann.
The first place short story will be published in the 2016 July edition of Palm Springs Life magazine.
The first place essay will be published in "The Coachella Review" literary journal.
