Here's a great opportunity to pitch your manuscript one-on-one with a  top rated publisher!

*To apply for a meeting with a publisher, authors must be a current member of PSWG.

ONLINE APPLICATION SUBMISSION ONLY

  • Members must login to enable application.
  • Authors must have an unpublished, full-length (60,000-word+) manuscript completed by June 4, 2016.
  • Authors are expected to bring the full manuscript to their June 4, 2016 scheduled meeting.
  • The number of available meetings is limited.
  •  All submitted applications will be reviewed & selected by a committee of PSWG Board of Directors.
  • The schedule of meetings will be emailed privately to the successful applicants.
  •   Individual meetings are limited to 15-minutes in duration.
  •  Meetings will be held on June 4 at the Rancho Mirage Public Library before and after the PSWG General Meeting: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. /  4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Deadline for online application is midnight May 7, 2016.
  • Directions for sending the first 10-pages of your manuscript submission will be emailed directly to you immediately upon completion of the online application.
  • The Publishers:
    Sam Henrie, publisher, Wheatmark Publishing, Tucson, AZ: Sam founded Wheatmark in 1999, and publishes about 60 titles a year in all genres. The company manages design, editing, distribution and e-book formatting for its authors, and provides assistance with marketing. Sam developed an Authors Academy, which provides teleseminars and marketing talks monthly for his authors.

    Marci Baun, publisher, Wild Child Publishing, Los AngelesMarci publishes 20 to 30 e-books and print-on-demand titles a year under the Wild Child label and the Freya’s Bower imprint. Wild Child's works range from stand-alone 10,000-word shorts (online) to most fictional genres (online and POD). Freya’s Bower publishes romance and erotica. She charges no up-front fee; pays royalties; and provides design, formatting, editing, proofreading, and distribution.  

    Billie Johnson, publisher, Oak Tree Press, Corcoran, CA: Billie has managed Oak Tree for 18 years, publishing about 48 books a year. She has cut back on the number of books she publishes so she can spend more time promoting her authors and garnering distribution. She publishes mysteries, memoirs of the not-so-famous, romances and police stories.
