Description of talk:
You need to impress an agent who then needs to impress a publisher with the uniqueness and professional quality of your writing. Write something you’re passionate about and just go for it! Have a recognizable platform. Know where your work fits in among literary genres. Be your authentic self, while recognizing market changes and how you might adapt your work to those trends. Anticipate and understand rejection. Be able to pitch your book in 30 seconds and be able to answer questions about it for two hours.
