Description of talk:
An experienced short story writer with an eye for the market, Barbara most recently commissioned thirteen short stories for Palm Springs Noir. And, according to Publisher's Weekly "there wasn’t a dud in the bunch." How did Barbara accomplish this? In this workshop you will learn ways to detect when your story is working, when it’s not, and the reasons for both. If you love to write and/or read short stories, this is the workshop for you.
