Announcing our upcoming

February Writers Forum

In-person monthly gathering. Come experience our new panel discussions and member-to-member knowledge sharing!

Are there serious repercussions to creating characters of a different ethnic ancestry than your own? —a PSWG panel you won't want to miss.

Some argue only writers who share an identity—like Black, Caucasian, Gay, Jewish, Asian, Latino, or Muslim—can truly capture that experience. But does that restrict our imagination and stifle our creative freedom? Or does it serve to strengthen human and civil rights? Is there a line we must not cross and where is that line, exactly? Our panel explores these questions today. Don't miss this essential and provocative discussion. Panelists: Victoria Brown and Marcie Maxfield. Moderator: Eduardo Santiago.

The meeting begins at 11:00 a.m. and ends at noon. This event is free for all members.
