2015 Poetry Contest
To honor the genre of poetry, all members (poets and non-poets) are invited to participate.

Celebrity Judge: Australian Poet Bronwyn Lea
Deadline is March 8, 2015
The judges will be looking for the following:
- The poem should have creative use of imagery, good word choices and line breaks.
- The poem should reflect a natural flow of words that are clear and relevant.
- The poem should evoke a feeling in the listener.
Entry Rules:
1. Only PSWG members in current 2014-2015 Program season status can participate. Not a member? Click here.
2. Number of entries allowed per member: one
3. Submit poem of any form (rhymed or free verse)
4. Length: Maximum 30 lines.
5. Format: New Times Roman 12 pt.
6. Title of poem must be included in header
7. Author's Name MUST NOT appear on the poem

Online Registration ONLY: Members must login and fill out an online registration form. Once you have successfully completed online registration, an automatic email will be sent to you with FURTHER instructions for entry submission.
Prize Awards: Winners announced and prizes awarded at PSWG May Awards Event.
First Prize: $75.00 cash & 1yr subscription to Poets & Writers Magazine. Poem will be read aloud to audience. Certificate awarded.
Second Prize: $25.00 cash & 1yr subscription to Poets & Writers Magazine. Certificate awarded.
